A garden very close to my heart, we created this little sanctuary in Kingsley alongside our friends who own the property. As nature lovers living in the suburbs, they wanted to be able to step outside and appreciate the beauty of plants that thrive in our environment. Despite what others may think of as a small space, we added three trees at the lower end of the garden to create more dappled shade as they mature. We sunk the trampoline to give the idea of more space and used natural materials where possible. Stage 2 of the garden is to add native ground covers to the gravel to really give it more of a ‘bush’ feel. Our friends don’t know this yet, but I’ll be pushing for a natural swimming pool when they’ve finished with the trampoline! ;-)
