This professional couple had renovated their back yard themselves and had a particular style/vision in mind and had no idea how to create it.

They called me in for an initial consultation and I went on to create a planting plan for them. They wanted maintenance free, screening, bold and architectural but simple and not unfussy and green over colour. They loved succulents and the Palm Springs look. I love the shapes and different shades of green in this planting, it works so well to create the impression of an Oasis next to the bright blue of their pool. A couple of years later I returned to design the front - I need to take photos still so stay tuned!
